Missions Week

Missions Week is a CCS ministry highlighted every year and supports our goal to be disciple makers. It is an opportunity to hear and see about what God is doing in local, national and international missions. We also emphasize supporting missionaries and ministry workers through prayer and financial support. Various special chapel services are planned as well as individual classroom activities.

  • To challenge non-Christian students to receive salvation
  • To challenge Christian students to deeper levels of commitment and to possible leadings from the Lord into missions
  • To address pressing social and moral concerns in our country and the world
  • To expose students to outstanding Christian missionaries and models
  • To provide opportunities for students to be self-giving as they participate in missionary offerings and needs
  • To provide an opportunity for students to gain deeper insight and practical helps in winning  souls to Jesus Christ
  • To develop rapport between students, faculty and staff, administration and other adult leaders
  • To develop cooperation between and within classes
  • To deepen students’ sense of corporate and individual worship
  • To challenge students in heeding Scriptural mandates to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ
