Dear CCS Families,

I pray that each of you during these summer months have been enjoying the wonders of God’s marvelous divine creation! As I consider the children that the Lord has given each of you, I’m reminded how they are such an integral part of His awe-inspiring design. In fact, Genesis 1:26-27 states three times that we are all specifically made in God’s image---He imagined you and your children, and He liked what He saw! He saw all our CCS families with all the creativity that He has tailor-made for you. I am blessed that He has selected you to share that creativity at our school!

As parents, you are uniquely blessed to have the daily privilege of encouraging your children’s creativity! And at CCS we are honored to walk beside you in the challenge. To help us with this process we are pleased to announce the addition of some new faculty members for this school year:

• Mrs. Simpson who has so faithfully taught 1^st/2^nd grade, Resource, and P.E. at CCS for 13 years has now seen all four of her children graduate from CCS with two already in college and two more on the way. Therefore, she will be pursuing another job opportunity to help finance and make her children’s dreams a reality. She will be greatly missed! We are pleased that Mrs. Goewey will be adding her God-inspired creativity fulltime to the 1^st/2^nd grade class.
• Also, Mrs. West will be directing her attention away from kindergarten to Parkview High School for her oldest son which will make their commute to school much easier for their whole family from Elburn. Mrs. West, who so beautifully trained and watched over our kindergarten students, leaves behind a vacancy for kindergarten that is hard to fill. However, we are pleased to introduce to you Miss Alicia Graham who attended CCS for 5 years and knows personally the "ethos" and vision of our school. She graduated from Alabama A&M University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and is currently working on her Masters degree at Aurora University.
• Additionally, Mrs. Lori Ogulei will be joining our staff part time as our school Resource and P.E. teacher. Mrs. Ogulei received her Bachelors degree from Eastern University, a Christian college in Pennsylvania and also holds a Masters Degree in Education. She has tutored students in kindergarten through high school at Sylvan Learning Center in addition to several other schools. We are pleased to have Mrs. Ogulei join our CCS staff!

So, beginning on Thursday, August 16, 2012, 10:00 a.m. we invite you to join our new and returning CCS staff and the River of Life/CCS FIREHOUSE worship team to creatively worship the King of Kings---our Lord Jesus Christ in the church sanctuary! And the following week, we will meet for our Parent Orientation Meeting on Tuesday, August 21 at 7:00 p.m.. This is a special time to meet with your student’s teachers before the first day on school on Thursday, August 23^rd and receive important information. Copies of the school calendar and school supply lists are available at our web site (www.covenantchristianaurora.org), or you may pick them up at the school office. If you have any questions before that date, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Tuition/Fees

Tuition-K-8 Full Time: $4,400* for entire year - school year 2012-2013

Full Time Preschool-Application Fee: $35.00

Enrollment Fee: $165.00

Total: $200.00

*Multi-family discounts available

Application Fee covers the cost of processing the application. Non-Refundable.

Enrollment Fee holds a position in the classroom for the student. refundable only if family moves from the area before school begins.

Payment Management Fee is a one-time annual cost included in the monthly fee taht covers the cost of setting up and administering monthly payments for parents selecting tuition plan #2.

Book/lab/material fees (BLM) are included in the #2 payment schedule.Book fees cover the purchase and maintenance of textbooks, planners, workbooks, copier costs, library use, etc. This fee also covers art, music, computer classes, supplies, kindergarten and preschool mats, and PE for grades 5-8, etc.

K5-1/2 Day: $225

Payment Plan #2 11 month payments-June 1-April 1. (For students enrolling after the first day of school, 9 month payments will apply.) All monthly payments include tuition, payment management fee and BLM fee. Payments are due on or before the first school day of each month.
